Export Documentation Officer

Job Description

Coordinate with the factory for packing lists, dispatch schedules, loading/unloading activities, and ensure timely movement of export consignments.
Coordinate with transporters, CHA, banks, and internal departments to facilitate smooth dispatch and shipment execution.
Prepare and verify export documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Non-Hazardous Declaration, COO), SCOMET Declaration, EVD, Insurance documents, Bill of Lading (BL) Draft, and document checklists.
Obtain freight quotations from CHAs, coordinate shipment bookings, and ensure cost-effective dispatch after management approval.
Prepare and submit monthly ECGC reports within the prescribed timelines.
Coordinate with DGFT and obtain BRC/e-BRC after every shipment.
Liaise with legal consultants and government authorities for export-related documentation and statutory compliance.
Prepare export banking documents as per bank requirements, including covering letters, currency details, and value dates.
Verify Purchase Orders and Letters of Credit for pricing, quantities, terms & conditions, and payment requirements.
Coordinate with banks for export remittances, LC documentation, bill submission, and resolution of payment-related issues.
Maintain accurate export records and ensure compliance with applicable export regulations and company procedures
