01Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Express.js.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
Implement middleware to enhance the applications functionalities.
Collaborate with front-end developers to create a scalable and efficient architecture.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Conduct code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements where necessary.
Ensure security best practices are implemented in the application.
Manage database interactions and create efficient data models.
Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Create comprehensive documentation for development processes and technical requirements.
Work closely with project managers to understand project scopes and objectives.
Participate in Agile development practices and daily stand-ups.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience using Express.js in a professional setting.
Strong understanding of Node.js and JavaScript language fundamentals.
Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
Knowledge of asynchronous programming and design patterns.
Experience with Git for version control.
Understanding of testing frameworks like Mocha or Jest.
Previous involvement in performance optimization of web applications.
Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
