Faade Engineer

Location: Bangalore
Experience: Mid-Level / Relevant Faade Engineering Experience
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical or Civil Engineering

We are looking for a Mid-Level Faade Engineer to support faade engineering projects for Rollecate B.V., Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare engineering drawings for aluminium/uPVC windows, doors and curtain wall systems
Prepare TGK, DEF, WVB, fabrication drawings, elevations, sections and technical details
Interpret architectural, structural and faade drawings, specifications and IFC/BIM models
Apply profiles, glass, hardware, fixings, sealing and interface details as per project requirements
Work effectively with AutoCAD and Logikal
Perform thorough self-QC and ensure drawing accuracy and consistency
Raise technical queries/RFIs and proactively communicate issues
Deliver assigned engineering work within committed timelines
Incorporate QC feedback and minimise errors and rework
Continuously develop knowledge of faade systems, standards and engineering practices

Required Skills

Faade engineering and detailing experience
Aluminium windows, doors and/or curtain wall systems
Knowledge of faade profiles, glass, hardware, fixings and interfaces
Strong AutoCAD skills
Logikal experience preferred
Experience with Kawneer, Schco or similar systems preferred
Basic understanding of faade fabrication and installation
BIM/Revit/IFC knowledge is an advantage
Knowledge of Dutch/European faade standards is an advantage
