Overview
You will be responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new merchants and customers for Paytm's digital payment solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will include meeting merchants, explaining service offerings, promoting the benefits of digital payments, and ensuring excellent customer service. Additionally, you will need to achieve sales targets, maintain relationships with clients, and provide feedback to the wider team to improve services and products.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and close new business opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with merchants and clients.
- Time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to meet sales targets and resolve customer inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with digital payment systems, financial services, and industry-related technologies is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently in an on-site, field-based environment.
- Proficiency in local languages will be an added advantage.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or business development is preferred but not mandatory.
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
