InstaSine Power Technologies is an OEM specializing in Power Quality Solutions, including Static VAR Generators (SVG) and Active Harmonic Filters (AHF). Our systems are deployed across Data Centers, Manufacturing Plants, Factories, Industries, and Commercial Facilities for power quality improvement and electrical system performance enhancement.
We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our Service & Maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
Installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SVG and AHF systems.Conduct Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities at Data Centers, Factories, Industries, and other customer sites.Attend breakdown/service calls and diagnose electrical and electronic system faults.Perform system health checks, parameter verification, functional testing, and performance analysis.Conduct pre-commissioning checks and ensure proper system commissioning.Troubleshoot power electronics, IGBT modules, control cards, driver cards, sensors, cooling systems, fuses, capacitors, and related components.Coordinate with customers during installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.Prepare Service Reports, PPM Reports, Installation & Commissioning Reports, and Breakdown Reports.Identify root causes of equipment failures and provide technical recommendations.Support the Service Team in spare-parts identification and replacement activities.Provide technical support through video calls when required.Follow company safety procedures and customer site safety requirements.Travel to customer locations as required for service and maintenance activities.Required Technical Skills
Basic to good knowledge of Electrical and Electronics systems.Understanding of Power Quality, Harmonics, Power Factor, Reactive Power, and Electrical Distribution Systems.Knowledge of AC/DC systems, three-phase electrical systems, control circuits, sensors, and power electronics.Basic understanding of IGBT-based power electronics equipment will be an advantage.Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of using multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, and other electrical testing instruments.Good documentation and reporting skills.Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.Freshers with good technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also be considered.Experience in Power Quality, UPS, AHF, SVG, APFC, Drives, Power Electronics, or Industrial Electrical Systems will be an added advantage.Candidate Profile
Strong technical and troubleshooting attitude.Willingness to travel to customer sites across India.Comfortable working at Data Centers, Factories, Manufacturing Plants, and Industrial Sites.Good communication and customer-handling skills.Ability to work independently as well as with a team.Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.Willing to learn OEM-specific products and technologies.Key Performance Areas
