Finance & Compliance Manager

Direct Tax Draft and file Income Tax Returns for Asset Management Companies (AMCs) and Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs) in consultation with tax advisors.Prepare and file responses to notices received from the Income Tax Department.Prepare and file Forms 64C, 64D, and 61B.Review and file quarterly TDS returns for AMCs and AIFs.Coordinate with advisors for Form 15CA and Form 15CB related to foreign remittances.Review the direct tax compliance status of portfolio companies.Participate in due diligence to identify and mitigate direct tax risks.Indirect Tax Review and file GST returns and Annual GST Returns.Prepare responses to notices received from GST and other indirect tax authorities.Review the indirect tax compliance status of portfolio companies.Participate in due diligence to identify and mitigate indirect tax risks.FEMA Compliance Assist in filing FC-GPR and FC-TRS forms.Coordinate with legal and tax advisors for FEMA compliance during foreign investor onboarding.SEBI & Regulatory Compliance Manage corporate actions such as issue and redemption of fund units.Ensure timely payment of stamp duty.File quarterly activity reports and annual PPM updates with SEBI.Coordinate with merchant bankers for regulatory certifications.File compliance test reports with trustees and other stakeholders.Assist in annual PPM audits.Support CERSAI compliance during and after investor onboarding.Coordinate with external valuers for valuation reports.Ensure compliance with all applicable SEBI regulations and circulars.Bookkeeping & Record Keeping Record daily business transactions in the accounting software.Maintain accounting vouchers and supporting documentation.Monitor reimbursements and maintain financial records.Preferred Experience Venture Capital (VC)Private Equity (PE)Asset Management Companies (AMCs)Alternate Investment Funds (AIFs)Investment Funds / Fund Administration If you have relevant experience and are looking for an exciting opportunity, share your updated resume on .
