Job Description

Role Overview

Branch delivers financial services to the mobile generation in emerging markets. As an Associate reporting to the Finance Manager in India, you will be responsible for various accounting functions, including loan accounting, reconciliation, and coordination with different departments. This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and record journal entries using NetSuite for timely month-end close - Analyze and complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Coordinate with internal teams for accurate expense allocation and vendor accounting - Support timely payment and compliance of statutory dues - Partner with cross-functional teams on accruals and contract-related accounting - Assist in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports - Support external audits by preparing schedules and responding to data requests

Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's/Masters in finance or Semi Qualified CA - 1-2 years of accounting experience in a similar position - Proficient in Excel with strong analytical capabilities; understanding of SQL or Python is an added advantage - Fluent in spoken and written English Additional Company Details: Branch is a for-profit socially conscious company with a diverse and inclusive working environment.
