Role Overview The Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day finance function for DC Fort's corporate office in Mumbai, covering financial control, reporting, budgeting, and cost management across the organization's operations. The role owns accurate books of account, timely statutory compliance, and reliable management information that supports operational and commercial decisions. Working closely with leadership, HR, and cross-functional teams, the Finance Manager provides financial visibility across the business and helps safeguard overall financial performance. The position combines hands-on accounting delivery with business partnering in a fast-growing, structured environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Reporting: Manage the full accounting cycle for the production campus, including month-end and year-end close, general ledger, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for the site, working with operations to explain deviations and support corrective action. Cost & Manufacturing Accounting: Track production and project costs, maintain costing for prefabricated units and materials, and provide margin and cost-efficiency analysis to management. Statutory Compliance & Taxation: Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable Indian statutory requirements, including returns, filings, and assessments. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections; manage working capital and support strong cash flow across the campus. Audit & Governance: Coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits; maintain proper documentation and support the strengthening of internal controls and financial processes. Management Reporting (MIS): Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and cost reports for site and group leadership to support planning and decision-making. Procurement & Vendor Finance: Review purchase orders, contracts, and vendor terms from a financial and commercial standpoint, in coordination with procurement and operations. Cash Flow & Banking: Manage banking relationships, fund flow, and cash forecasting to meet operational and project payment obligations. Team & Process: Supervise and develop the site finance team, and drive improvements in accounting systems, ERP usage, and financial processes. Required Skills and Experience Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Finance or Accounting. 812 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with time spent in a plant, manufacturing, production, or infrastructure environment. Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements. Hands-on experience with cost accounting and manufacturing or project-based costing. Proven experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and audits. Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and strong proficiency in MS Excel. Sound understanding of working capital, cash flow management, and internal controls. Ability to partner with operations and non-finance teams and communicate financial information clearly. High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing setup. Prior experience in data centers, EPC, or operations-driven environments is an advantage. .
