01Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and business-focused Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst with strong experience in spend analytics, rebate analysis, financial analytics and process planning and documentation . The role will support strategic decision-making through financial planning, analytics, cost optimization, and pricing insights, working closely with Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams.
The ideal candidate combines strong financial modelling skills with a solid understanding of financial strategies, supplier economics, and pricing/rebate structures to drive profitability and cost efficiency.
Finance Planning & Analyst
Reporting to : Senior Executive Accounts
Qualification : BCom/ M com/MBA or CA/CMA
Experience : 8-10 years of experience / 3-5 years PQE for CA/CMA
This role is responsible for financial analysis related to accruals, spend tracking, and supplier rebates . Analyze accruals, actual spend, and rebate programs to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecast alignment
Partner with Procurement and Finance teams to track, reconcile, and optimize rebate income
Review supplier contracts and commercial agreements to analyze spend patterns, rebate terms, and compliance
Conduct detailed spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and pricing inefficiencies
Provide financial insights to support decisions on supplier consolidation and sourcing strategies
Ensure rebate and spend data accuracy within financial systems and reporting tools
Prepare management reports highlighting rebate performance, spend variances, and procurement savings
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze accruals, spend data, and rebate structures
Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier contracts, and commercial termsExperience in rebate tracking, validation, and reconciliation across multiple legal entitiesAbility to perform detailed spend analysis and identify cost optimization opportunitiesStrong financial acumen with a focus on margin, cost drivers, and profitabilityAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modelling)8-10 years of FP&A experience (B.com/M.com/MBA) or 3-5 years (CA/CMA), preferably with demonstrated experience partnering with Procurement and Rebate teamsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting) and familiarity with Microsoft Office and BI tools.Effective communication skills to collaborate with Finance, Procurement, and Business stakeholders .
