Finance Senior Manager, South Asia

You will be joining Wise as a Finance Senior Manager, South Asia, located in Hyderabad, India. Your role will involve collaborating with the APAC Head of Finance, Finance Managers, and Regional Controllers to ensure compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements in the South Asia region. Your expertise in local iGAAP (IFRS/US GAAP) will be essential in guiding Wise's financial strategy and operations. Additionally, you will oversee local audits, manage relationships with outsourced firms, ensure financial regulatory compliance, act as the primary Finance contact for various teams, partner with Finance Product team for system optimization, and conduct thorough reviews of financial statements for accuracy.

- Collaborate with the APAC Head of Finance, Finance Managers, and Regional Controllers to ensure compliance with accounting, regulatory, and tax requirements in the South Asia region - Oversee local audits, manage relationships with outsourced firms, and ensure financial regulatory compliance - Act as the primary Finance contact for South Asia Regional Expansion, Banking, Compliance, Product, and People Teams - Partner with the Finance Product team and Group Accounting to align systems, controls, and processes with regional needs - Conduct thorough monthly and quarterly reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and integrity for assigned entities

- Financial Services experience in Statutory GAAP (iGAAP), Financial Reporting (IFRS/US GAAP), Controlling, Regulatory (FEMA), and Tax Compliance - Strong technical finance skills combined with Commercial Finance acumen - Experience in financial strategy, compliance oversight, audit management, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting accuracy Company Details: Wise is a global technology company focused on simplifying international money transfers and payments.
