Job Description

Role Overview

As a seasoned Senior Manager in Finance transformation, Accounting, and regulatory reporting at EY, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform the finance function within the banking organization. Your deep understanding of sector knowledge in areas such as Insurance or banking operations, regulatory requirements, and financial processes will be crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of strategic initiatives to transform the finance function within the banking organization. - Assess current financial processes, systems, and controls to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. - Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of transformation projects. - Collaborate with finance, technology, and business teams to define requirements, design solutions, and drive change. - Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on banking regulations, accounting standards, chart of account re-design, vendor assessment, and industry best practices. - Conduct impact assessments and risk analyses to mitigate potential disruptions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Develop and deliver training programs to educate stakeholders on new processes, systems, and controls. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of transformation initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement. - Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the banking and finance industry. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA, CFA).
