Job SummaryStartup Inno is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Analyst (FP&A) - Budgeting & Forecasting Expert to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial planning, analysis, and forecasting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable financial insights, ensuring the companys growth targets are achievable and sustainable. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support the companys strategic objectives.
Perform variance analysis by comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with department heads to translate operational plans into financial metrics and actionable insights.
Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and long-term financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
Assist in financial decision-making by providing in-depth analysis of business performance and investment opportunities.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Required Skills and QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) preferred.
Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Proficient in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) is a plus.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
High attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
ExperienceMinimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.
Prior experience in a startup, high-growth, or fast-paced corporate environment is highly desirable.
Proven track record of successfully developing financial models and delivering actionable insights that support business growth.
Working HoursFull-time role, standard office hours (9:00 AM 6:00 PM) with flexibility depending on business needs.
Occasional extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, and key project deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDeep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial planning methodologies.
Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting techniques.
