01Overview
Role Objective: The CA will oversee core banking, treasury, foreign exchange operations, insurance, and audit compliance. This role ensures effective fund utilization, strict regulatory and process adherence, and smooth financial operations using SAP S/4HANA and advanced data analytics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Banking Operations - Assist in establishing working capital limits with lenders.
Maintain track of sanctioned versus utilized working capital limits.Liaise with banking partners and mutual fund institutions for daily operations.Ensure operational efficiency and board-approved limit compliance across all bank accounts.Review bank reconciliation statements and guide team members on Bank Guarantees (BG) and Letters of Credit (LC) issuance. Treasury & Cash Management - Prepare daily fund position reports and share them with the treasury team.Review bank positions to identify idle funds or deficiencies and assist in mutual fund scheme selections for optimal fund deployment.Assist in preparing monthly cash flow statements for management submission. Forex & Derivative Management - Maintain multi-currency forex reports to determine net exposure for hedging strategies.Manage forward contracts, maintain the forex derivatives register, compute monthly FX gain/loss, and ensure hedge accounting compliance.Review documentation for overseas payments and negotiate rate bookings for foreign currency transactions with bank treasury teams. Audit, Regulatory & Other Finance Areas - Collate documentation and assist in statutory audits, internal audits, credit rating exercises, and annual assessments with lenders.Ensure adherence to monthly and annual banking/RBI compliance norms, stock statements, and Annual Performance Reports (APR).Address auditor queries and implement post-audit recommendations.
Insurance
Management - Assist in driving the annual insurance renewal process.
Liaise with insurance brokers and carriers for claims tracking and policy administration. STAKEHOLDER INTERACTION - Interaction with: Treasury Team, Internal Audit, Management, and Cross-functional Operational Teams.Nature of Interaction: Daily fund position updates, cash flow reporting, query resolution, and operational guidance.Interaction with: Banking Partners, Treasury Desk, Mutual Fund Managers, Statutory Auditors, Rating Agencies, RBI/Regulatory Authorities, Insurance Brokers, and Underwriters.Nature of Interaction: Limit negotiations, transaction execution, rate booking, audit defenses, compliance filings, and insurance claim settlements.
Professional
Experience and Relevant Skills - 10-12 yrs experience managing corporate banking, treasury operations, forex hedging, and insurance portfolios.
Strong understanding of working capital management, trade finance (BG/LC), cash flow forecasting, and hedge accounting principles.Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.Educational Qualification: CA Location: Corporate Office- Govandi East, Mumbai Working Days: Monday to Friday (2nd and 4th Saturday off, 1st,3rd and 5th Saturday operational) USV provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants based on merit, without discrimination of any kind. .
