As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting outcomes that support firmwide decision-making. You will be responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of forecasting and budgeting, including analysis of financial and business metrics and development of new reporting capabilities such as dashboards. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data, maintain financial and reporting systems, and drive automation and process improvements to streamline cycle times while supporting special projects as needed.
Job responsibilities
Deliver efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy, including location strategy, span of control, and related reporting.Create financial business cases to support business initiatives.Monitor key metrics, drive data quality initiatives across the product area, and define future reporting and analytics needs.Support delivery of FP&A data products, ensuring alignment between business needs, data models, and platform capabilities.Design and enhance reports and dashboards to deliver financial results efficiently to senior leadership.Strengthen controls and streamline processes by introducing automation where possible.Support delivery governance across the lifecycle, including dependency management, risk tracking, release readiness, and ensuring timely execution of committed milestones.Ensure data quality, stability, and reliability of the product by establishing validation strategies, monitoring health metrics, and driving continuous improvements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature6+ years of work experience, in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller backgroundProficient skills in SQL, Python and DatabricksProficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data setsInquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peersStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearlyAbility to create ad hoc reporting for senior managementProven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or informationHighly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlinesTeam player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A TeamsHighly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely .
