Overview
You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions in Financial Analysis. As an Associate in Planning and Analysis, you will be responsible for coordinating the budgeting and forecasting process, management reports, and presentations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a liaison between Firm-wide P&A, lines of business, Functional Finance teams, and other support teams
- Producing presentations, analysis, and supporting materials for key internal clients
- Developing, consolidating, and presenting insightful financial analysis including annual budget and forecast variances
- Creating, maintaining, and reviewing financial models and analyses
- Conducting "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting clients
- Collaborating with business partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders
Qualifications required for this role include:
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment, professional maturity, and personal integrity
- Strong organizational, management, and communication skills
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, Visual Basic, and macros
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Team-oriented, critical thinker with strong partnership-building skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- CFA, CPA, MBA a plus
- Minimum 5 years of relevant FP&A experience, preferably in the financial services industry
