Job Description

Key Responsibilities

** - Prepare and conduct 1st level reviews on private equity and hedge fund financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant GAAP and regulatory requirements. - Assist in the drafting and distribution of financial statements to clients and auditors, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. - Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. - Manage risk by ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Key Controls, and Client Specific Procedures/Checklists. - Estimate personnel requirements, assign tasks, oversee deliverables, and coordinate workflow. - Ensure team accuracy, meet deadlines, and implement operational changes effectively. - Utilize automation tools and recommend system enhancements. - Participate in client issue resolution, volunteer for ad-hoc projects, and assist with last-minute requests. - Coordinate activities across departments and with global offshoring partners. - Update task lists for offshoring partners, provide necessary documentation, and act as the primary contact for queries. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Economics with a specialization in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. - Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA/ACCA are preferred. - Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS is advantageous. **Key Skills:** - Fund Accounting - Transaction Processing & Management - Financial Analysis - Excellent Communication - Problem Solving - Statistical Analysis **Additional Company Details:** State Street is a global institution that helps institutional investors manage risk, drive performance, and respond to challenges.
