Role & responsibilities
Financial Preparation & Consolidation
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation.
- Manage consolidation of group entities in compliance with Ind AS.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of reporting
Compliance & Standards
- Drive compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee statutory audits, internal audits (relating to book closure), and reporting requirements.
- Maintain strong governance and internal controls.
Performance Summary & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly performance summaries for senior management.
- Provide insights into financial metrics, variances, and trends
General Ledger Analytics
- Perform detailed GL reviews and variance analysis.
- Support management decisionmaking with analytical reports.
Cash Flow Projections
- Prepare and monitor shortterm and longterm cash flow forecasts.
- Align cash flow planning with business growth and investment needs.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Lead initiatives to automate reporting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Implement financial systems upgrades and digital tools.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and turnaround time.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with business units, auditors, consultants, internal stakeholders and regulators.
- Act as a key liaison between finance, operations, and senior leadership.
- Present financial insights to management and board committees.
Preferred candidate profile
- Chartered Accountant CA with 5 to 10 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and Indian corporate reporting requirements.
- Proven track record in financial consolidation and reporting.
- Experience in GL analytics, cash flow management, and automation projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
