Firewall Engineer Network L3

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Network Security / Firewall Engineer L3 to manage, troubleshoot and implement enterprise firewall and network security solutions in a multi-vendor environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and troubleshoot enterprise Check Point, Palo Alto, FortiGate and Cisco ASA firewalls.Add, modify, optimize and simplify firewall rules.Configure and troubleshoot NAT, routing and VPN.Perform firewall log monitoring, analysis, health checks and troubleshooting.Manage firewall configuration and policy backups.Resolve complex L3 incidents, vulnerabilities and firewall-related audit findings.Participate in MIM calls, provide RCA and handle escalations.Perform firewall IOS/software upgrades, hotfixes and service packs.Design and implement firewall solutions for greenfield and brownfield environments.Administer IDS/IPS and implement firewall sandbox/advanced security features.Work with SIEM/SOAR and security monitoring tools.Support enterprise proxy technologies including Bluecoat, Cisco WSA and Cloud Proxy.Work with F5 Load Balancers and network security infrastructure.Troubleshoot and analyze Wireshark captures.Manage Check Point Multi-Domain and Fortinet FortiManager environments.Work with Juniper Firewalls/VPN Gateways, Pulse Secure and VPN users/tokens.Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and security procedures.Collaborate with network, security and application teams to resolve complex issues.Mandatory Technical Skills 47 years hands-on experience in Network Security / Firewall administrationStrong experience in one or more: Check Point, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Cisco ASAHands-on knowledge of Check Point, ASA and Juniper FirewallsStrong understanding of IPsec, ISAKMP, SSL, PKI, RADIUS and TACACSStrong knowledge of VPN technologiesExperience with IDS/IPS, Web Filtering, Proxy, Email Filtering and Next-Generation FirewallsKnowledge of NAT, routing, switching and wireless networkingExperience in firewall troubleshooting, log analysis and incident resolutionKnowledge of Juniper VPN Gateway, Pulse Secure and VPN tokensExperience with Bluecoat/Cisco WSA/Cloud ProxyKnowledge of F5 Load BalancerExperience with Wireshark analysisUnderstanding of SIEM/SOARExperience with FortiManager and Check Point Multi-Domain environmentsAbility to handle critical incidents and high-pressure situationsPreferred Certifications CCSA / CCSE / CCNP / FCNSA / FNSE Candidate Profile Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Good communication and customer-handling skills.Ability to independently handle L3 escalations and complex security incidents.Experience working in large enterprise, multi-vendor network security environments.Compensation: 60,000.00 - 75,000.00 per month Work Location: In person .
