FR Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Fault Diagnosis and Repair:

Identifying and resolving network problems, including troubleshooting internet connectivity issues, slow speeds, and equipment malfunctions. 

• Installation and Maintenance:

Installing new broadband connections, maintaining existing ones, and performing upgrades. 

• Fiber Optic Cable Work:

Working with fiber optic cables, splicing, and ensuring proper connections. 

• Network Equipment Maintenance:

Maintaining and troubleshooting network equipment, such as modems, routers,

• Customer Support:

Interacting with customers to address their issues, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction. 

• Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintaining records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities. 

Additional Skills and Knowledge:

• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of broadband technologies, fiber optics, network equipment, and troubleshooting techniques. 
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse issues, diagnose problems, and develop solutions. 
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders. 
• Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to electrical and fiber optic work.
