Role Overview
As a Full-Stack Developer at WNS (Holdings) Limited, you will be a key member of the dynamic engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining web applications across the entire technology stack. You will work on creating responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular, as well as building scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js and Python. The ideal candidate should be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for writing efficient code and a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development (Angular):
- Develop dynamic, responsive, and high-performance single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular (v12+).
- Create reusable, modular components and services following Angular best practices.
- Implement state management solutions like NgRx, Akita, or services with RxJS.
- Ensure technically feasible UI/UX designs are implemented with high fidelity.
- Write unit and end-to-end tests using Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor or Cypress.
- Back-End & API Development (Node.js & Python):
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable server-side logic using Node.js (Express.js or NestJS) and Python (Django or Flask).
- Develop and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching systems.
- Implement data storage solutions, schema design, and optimizations.
- Full-Stack Integration:
- Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and cloud deployment on Azure.
- Collaboration & Process:
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for best practices.
Qualification Required:
- Experience: 6 to 9 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Front-End: Proficiency in Angular with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SASS or SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, RxJS.
- Back-End: Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, Python, Django or Flask, API design principles.
- Databases: Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Tools & Practices: Proficiency with Git, agile development, test-driven development.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, collaborative team spirit.
