Job Description
We are seeking a skilled GCP DevOps and Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Google Cloud Platform with strong DevOps practices to drive operational excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) in addition to GCP
Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
Familiarity with GitOps practices and tools
Experience with database administration and data migration
Knowledge of machine learning operations (MLOps)
Additional certifications in cloud or DevOps domains

Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2- 4 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles
Strong experience with GCP services and infrastructure management
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
Expert knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices
Solid understanding of networking concepts and security principles
Professional certification in GCP (Professional Cloud Architect, Professional DevOps Engineer, or equivalent)
Roles & Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP services including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools to automate cloud resource provisioning and management
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar tools to enable rapid and reliable software delivery
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and other observability tools to ensure system reliability and performance
Manage container orchestration using GKE, implementing best practices for cluster management, security, and scalability
Collaborate with development teams to implement microservices architecture and containerization strategies
Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures
Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, network security, and compliance requirements
Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs while maintaining performance and reliability
Participate in on-call rotation to provide production support and incident response .
