Operations
Lead the end-to-end operations of the diagnostic centre, ensuring efficient and uninterrupted service delivery.
Coordinate and oversee all departments including Pathology, Radiology, Front Office, Phlebotomy, Home Collection, Customer Care, Administration, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Housekeeping.
Establish clear reporting structures, accountability, and performance standards across departments.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, and infrastructure.
Drive operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of patient care and service quality.
Business Performance &
Growth
Own the branch P&L and drive revenue, profitability, and operational sustainability.
Develop and execute business strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Monitor daily operational and financial KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
Collaborate with the Business Development and Marketing teams to increase patient footfall, B2B business, doctor referrals, corporate accounts, and health check-up programs.
Identify opportunities for new service offerings and operational improvements.
Patient Experience &
Service Excellence
Ensure an exceptional patient experience across every touchpoint.
Monitor patient waiting times, report turnaround times (TAT), complaint resolution, and service quality.
Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and retention.
Ensure adherence to patient privacy, confidentiality, and ethical healthcare practices.
Clinical &
Operational Coordination
Work closely with Pathologists, Radiologists, Medical Officers, and technical teams to ensure smooth diagnostic operations.
Ensure timely reporting, sample processing, quality control, and equipment availability.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory and radiology equipment.
Monitor inventory of consumables, reagents, and medical supplies to prevent operational disruptions.
Quality, Compliance &
Accreditation
Ensure compliance with NABL, NABH (where applicable), AERB, Biomedical Waste Management, Clinical Establishment Act, and all statutory healthcare regulations.
Lead internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation processes.
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Financial Management
Manage branch budgets, operational expenses, and cost optimization initiatives.
Monitor revenue leakage, billing accuracy, receivables, and vendor payments.
Review daily MIS reports and financial performance dashboards.
Drive productivity improvements while maintaining service quality.
People Management
Lead and mentor department heads and multidisciplinary teams.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and training initiatives.
Ensure adequate staffing and succession planning across critical functions.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with referring doctors, hospitals, corporate clients, insurance partners, vendors, and local healthcare stakeholders.
Represent the branch in interactions with regulatory authorities and external agencies.
Work closely with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and business reviews. .
