Role Description The General Manager Finance & Accounts will oversee the organizations financial management, accounting operations, and internal control systems. This full-time, on-site role based in Gaya involves leading the finance and accounts team, supervising preparation and review of financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring timely statutory compliance and tax filings. The role includes monitoring cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships, as well as implementing and strengthening internal controls, policies, and procedures across manufacturing units and business verticals. The General Manager will analyze financial performance, provide insights and reports to senior leadership, support strategic decision-making, and coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders. Responsibilities also include optimizing ERP/accounting systems, driving process improvements, and supporting the Groups growth and expansion initiatives through sound financial planning.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to manage end-to-end finance and accounts functions.Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.Robust Analytical Skills to assess financial performance, identify trends, support budgeting, and guide strategic decisions.Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring Internal Controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks.Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent, with relevant experience in manufacturing or FMCG preferred.Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills.Ability to work on-site in Gaya and collaborate across multiple locations and business units. .
