Role Overview The General Manager Finance & Accounts will lead the entire finance function for the hospital vertical, driving financial strategy, governance, compliance, and operational efficiency. This is a central leadership role responsible for building a scalable finance framework aligned with rapid hospital expansion, ensuring strong financial controls, and enabling business decision-making through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership Partner with leadership to define financial strategy aligned with organizational growth. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for all hospital units. Provide strategic insights on profitability, cost optimization, and capital allocation. Financial Operations & Control Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, AR/AP, treasury, and payroll. Establish and enforce robust financial controls and SOPs across all hospitals. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual). Hospital Financial Management Monitor unit-level P&L, identify variances, and drive corrective actions. Improve revenue cycle management (billing, collections, insurance reconciliation). Work closely with operations to optimize cost structures without impacting care quality. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax laws, and healthcare-specific financial norms. Manage audits (internal & external), ensuring zero non-compliance. Strengthen governance frameworks and risk management practices. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with clinical, operations, HR, and central teams for financial alignment. Interface with investors, auditors, and external partners as needed. Support leadership with financial models for expansion, new units, and investments. Team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing finance team across central and unit levels. Drive capability building, performance management, and succession planning.
