General Manager- Senior Operations (office interiors)

GM Senior Operations Office Interior Design & Build Role Overview The GM - Senior Operations will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality control, cost management, and seamless coordination between design, procurement, and execution teams. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple interior projects from concept to completion.Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation.Ensure adherence to project scope, cost, and quality standards. 2. Team Management & Leadership Lead and mentor a team of project managers, site engineers, and coordinators.Assign roles and responsibilities to ensure effective execution of projects.Conduct performance evaluations and training programs for the project team. 3. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, vendors, and contractors.Ensure clear communication between design, procurement, and execution teams.Conduct regular client meetings and updates on project progress. 4. Budgeting & Cost Control Manage project budgets, forecast costs, and control expenses.Work with the procurement team to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.Minimize wastage and optimize resource utilization. 5. Quality & Compliance Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure work quality and adherence to design intent.Implement risk assessment and mitigation plans for project challenges. 6. Vendor & Contractor Management Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and finishes as per design requirements. Key Requirements Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.10+ years of experience in office interiors, fit-outs, or construction project management.Proven track record of delivering high-end corporate office interior projects. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.High proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, Primavera, or similar.Strong financial acumen for budget management and cost control.Exceptional communication and client-handling skills.Knowledge of design, MEP, and fit-out processes.
