As a Global Supply Chain Specialist at ICON, you play a crucial role in streamlining processes, ensuring compliance, and maintaining operational efficiency. Your responsibilities include: - Recognizing, exemplifying, and adhering to ICON's values of commitment to People, Clients, and Performance. - Embracing and contributing to a culture of process improvement to add value to the business and meet client needs. - Ensuring processes are carried out within agreed turnaround times and documented procedures. - Maintaining compliance with industry regulations related to shipping and receiving of materials. - Liaising with stakeholders on kit supply issues and reviewing departmental operating concerns. - Improving operational performance by introducing new ideas and concepts. - Coordinating with couriers for collection information and preparing necessary documentation for shipments. - Collaborating with quality assurance teams to investigate and address quality issues. - Auditing vendor invoices for accuracy and processing payments in a timely manner. - Providing operational oversight for contract and pricing negotiations with the Procurement team. - Developing and implementing business contingency plans for Kit supply. - Performing additional responsibilities as requested by management.
