Role & responsibilities :
Gold Appraiser :
Ensures the gold is weighed accurately to avoid discrepancies between the pledged amount and the loan amount.
Appraiser will assess the purity (karat value), weight, and condition of the gold.
Appraiser will check the golds karat value using various methods like acid tests, electronic testers.
Must ensure that the appraisal process follows legal and regulatory guidelines, particularly in terms of transparency and fairness.
providing detailed reports that include the weight, purity, and value of the gold. Make proper reports as part of the loan documentation and for evidence in case of any disputes.
Interact with clients professionally and in a friendly manner, answering their questions and concerns about the appraisal procedure.
Branch Manager :
Achieve Monthly/Annual Gold Loan Portfolio targets (AUM) and acquire recent customers through local marketing.
Supervise daily operations, including gold valuation, loan processing, and vault management.
Lead, train, and motivate branch staff (loan officers/appraisers) to meet sales and service targets.
Maintain strict compliance with RBI/NBFC guidelines, manage KYC, and ensure 100% documentation.
Manage customer service, handle queries, and ensure quick turnaround time (TAT).
Preferred candidate profile
Minimum 1 year exp required in Gold Appraiser department.
Minimum 5 to 6 Year Exp required same role of Branch Manager of Gold Loan department. .
