01Overview
A Gold Loan Officer is responsible for facilitating and managing gold loan services for customers. This role involves evaluating, approving, and monitoring gold loan transactions while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Assist customers in understanding the gold loan process, terms, and conditions.
- Explain interest rates, repayment schedules, and loan tenure.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Assess the quality and purity of gold offered as collateral.
- Evaluate the customer's eligibility and loan amount based on established criteria.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain proper records.
- Verify the authenticity of the gold and detect potential fraud.
- Assess market value trends for gold and set appropriate loan limits.
- Mitigate risks by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all loan transactions comply with internal policies and external legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation, including Know Your Customer (KYC) details.
Experience: Prior experience in gold loans, retail banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Proficiency in gold evaluation techniques.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of loan management systems and financial software.
- Sales and negotiation abilities.
- Attention to detail and risk management awareness.

Compensation: 25,000.00 - 50,000.00 per month
