01Overview
As a Graphic \u0026 UI UX Designer (with Video Editing\nSkills) at SKO Systems, you will support both product and communication design\nneeds within the Cruise Application ecosystem. This role focuses primarily on\ngraphic and UI UX design, with additional responsibility for basic video\ncreation and editing.\n\n\nYou will collaborate closely with Senior designer,\ndevelopers, and Documentation team to ensure consistent, visually appealing,\nand brand-aligned outputs across digital platforms.\n\n\nEssential Functions / Deliverables\n\n\n\nGraphic Design Execution Create high-quality visuals\nfor internal and external communication such as ID cards, festival posts, recent\njoiner posts, and promotional creatives. Maintain visual consistency aligned\nwith company brand guidelines.\n\n\nUI UX Design \u0026 Collaboration Perform\nrequirement-based UI/UX edits, updates, and enhancements. Occasionally design\nnew screens from scratch for web or mobile platforms. Collaborate with product\ndesigners to refine layout, color, and visual hierarchy for improved\nusability.\n\n\nVideo Editing \u0026 Motion Design Perform basic video\nediting tasks for product walkthroughs, explainer videos, and feature highlight\nclips. Animate simple transitions or UI elements to visually communicate app\ninteractions or updates.\n\n\nCollaboration with Cross-functional Teams Work with\ndevelopers, product managers, BAs, Documentation Team and HR team to support\ndesign requirements for product communication, onboarding visuals, and internal\nculture posts.\n\n\nBrand \u0026 Asset Management Maintain organized design\nfiles, reusable templates, and component libraries for design efficiency.\nEnsure proper file naming, structure, and cross-team accessibility.\n\n\nPresentation \u0026 Communication Skills Present\nconcepts and design choices to internal teams. Explain design rationale and\nreceive feedback constructively\n\n\nHTML/CSS/JS Knowledge (Bonus Skill) Basic understanding\nto work collaboratively with frontend developers\n\n\nExcel \u0026 PowerPoint Proficiency (Added Advantage) \nDocument findings, user research insights, or roadmap items for stakeholder\nmeetings\n\n\nRequirements\nEducation: Degree or diploma in Design,\nVisual Arts, or related field Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UI/UX\nDesign, or related discipline\n\n\n\n\n\nCertifications: Not mandatory, but\ncertifications in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Motion Graphics are a\nplus\n\n\nRequired Years and Area of Professional Experience\n: \n\n\n23 years of experience in Graphic Design or UI UX Design\nwith basic video editing exposure.\n\n\n\n\n\nCritical Professional Related Technical/Computer\nSkills : \n\n\n Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and\nFigma\n\n\n Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects/ Premiere Pro / or Any Video Editing\ntool\n\n\nUnderstanding of UI UX fundamentals and visual design principlesFamiliarity with responsive layouts and design consistency.\nProfessional competencies :\nExperience designing for enterprise or SaaS products;\nfamiliarity with UI workflows\n\n\n\n\n\nKnowledge, Skills \u0026 Abilities\n\n\n Strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, and\nlayout\n\n\nBasic motion design understanding\n Ability to work efficiently across multiple design formats (static and\nvideo)\n\n\nAbility to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly\nEthics \u0026 Compliance : This position requires\nfull commitment to fostering the highest standards while promoting an ethical\nand compliant culture.
