Position Overview
We are seeking a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant with extensive experience to lead and manage the Family Office Accounting for multiple promoters. The ideal candidate will combine strategic accounting oversight with hands-on execution and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Promoter Wealth & Portfolio Accounting
Investment Accounting: Manage complex accounting for a diverse array of investments i.e. Promoters investments, Promoter Family, Stakeholder Company, Charitable Trust, LLP, NBFC, including equity, debt, private equity, venture capital, and alternative assets.Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize liquidity, personal cash flows, funding requirements, and distributions for promoters and their immediate families.
Estate Administration
Estate Management: Oversee the accounting management of a high-value real estate portfolio, including commercial, residential, and agricultural properties.Operational Expenses: Monitor and process property tax payments, maintenance costs, utility bills, and insurance premiums.Revenue Management: Track rental income, lease compliance, tenant renewals, and property-related cash flows.
Compliance, Documentation & Operations
Corporate Secretarial & Banking: Lead the end-to-end documentation for opening, maintaining, and closing bank, demat, and investment accounts.Taxation & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to domestic tax laws, including advance tax planning of the group Companies and responding to regulatory notices.Record Keeping: Maintain flawless physical and digital archives of title deeds, investment certificates, share registries, and legal agreements.MIS: Monitor and review MIS of all Accounts.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and manage a lean team of accountants and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.Vendor & Advisor Liaison: Coordinate effectively with external stakeholders, including wealth managers, legal counsels, tax advisors, real estate brokers, and auditors.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.Experience: Minimum 10-15 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant portion spent inside a Single/Multi-Family Office environment.
Technical Competencies
Deep expertise in Indian and International accounting standards, direct/indirect taxation, and FEMA regulations.Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Excel.
