Role Overview
As a Guest Relations Officer at OneHealth Super Speciality Hospital in Vandalur, Chennai, your primary responsibility will be to manage reception duties, interact with patients and visitors, address queries, and ensure a positive guest experience. You will coordinate with various departments to enhance customer satisfaction, provide accurate information, and promptly resolve any concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential in-patient (IP) patients in the Emergency Room (ER) and Out-Patient Department (OPD) quickly
- Explain the doctor's treatment plan in simple terms
- Address doubts regarding the treatment plan
- Politely explain hospital facilities to patients and visitors
- Assist with necessary documents and provide guidance
- Guide patients through the admission process step by step
- Inform patients about the expected duration of stay
- Provide an approximate estimate of the package cost
- Negotiate package discounts with Health Authorities (HA) if the patient is concerned about costs
- Offer guidance on insurance cashless claims
- Inform patients about room options and availability
- Facilitate fixing the admission date on the same day
Qualifications Required
- MBA in Hospitality Management preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role at a hospital
- Proficiency in guest relations to enhance customer satisfaction
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an added advantage
