When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) as an Associate with 2.5 to 4 years of experience, you will be part of the Insurance Transformation and Modernization team. Your role will involve using cutting-edge technologies for Policy, Billing, and Claims administration to address critical business challenges. You will contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, customer experience, and innovation through advanced technologies and streamlined workflows. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will analyze current systems, design future state systems, and oversee the successful execution of transformation projects.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting sprint planning and collaborating with teams from different locations and clients.
- Analyzing client requirements and reviewing estimates.
- Designing and developing solutions in a timely manner.
- Guiding the team, performing design and code reviews.
- Supporting testing, client queries, and communication with the onsite team.
- Participating in scrum calls, CoE activities, trainings, and recruitments as required.
Preferred Skill Set:
- Hands-on experience in Guidewire products BillingCenter.
- Proficiency in Configuration stream.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire platform (Gosu scripting / UI / Data Model).
- Familiarity with Webservices, XML, ant script, and databases like Oracle / SQL Server.
- Exposure to SCM tools (GIT, TFS, SVN), servers/containers (Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere), and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Good written and oral communication skills, analytical abilities.
- Experience in Agile SCRUM or SAFe methodology, insurance domain knowledge.
- Sound knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, estimation, team leading, code review, and mentoring.
- At least two Guidewire implementations, good estimation skills, and proficiency in MuleSoft, Spring/Hibernate are desirable.
