Job purpose:
At EY GDS, you will get an opportunity to work on various Guidewire implementation projects for Global Customers.You will be a part of a team working across Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, Underwriting, Data, Digital and ActuarialYou will collaborate with global teams across EY on large scale transformation, and platform implementation program
Key responsibilities:
Work in an advisory role as a Consultant / Technical Expert to contribute in various technical streams of Guidewire implementation/Integration project.Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinatorsPlanning and monitoring of the project deliverables from the team.Mentor the project team in executing the identified projectsRegular status reporting to the Manager and onsite coordinatorsInterface with the customer representatives as and when neededTravel to the customers locations on need basis
People responsibilities:
Building a quality cultureManage the performance management for the direct reports, as per the organization policiesFoster teamwork and lead by exampleTraining and mentoring of project resourcesParticipating in the organization-wide people initiatives
Experience Range - 1 to 12 years.
Key / Must have skills:
Experience in Guidewire GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digital. Thorough knowledge and hands-on experience of various GW PC / CC / BC Config / Integration / GW Digital concepts.Guidewire implementations, and upgrades in the Insurance sector.Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.Java 5+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANTStrong in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging SystemShould have strong knowledge and experience on Tomcat and or Websphere/WeblogicReal time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, Preferably from Insurance domain backgroundShould have understanding and experience of software development best practices.Excellent business communication skillsExcellent leadership skillsPrior Client facing experience
