Head - Compensation & Benefits

As the Head - Compensation & Benefits, based in Kolkata, you will lead the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's compensation and benefits programs. This role collaborates extensively with HR Business Partners, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure our compensation strategies are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. Your work will directly impact employee engagement, talent acquisition, and overall organizational performance by creating a compelling and rewarding employee experience.

- Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy that attracts, retains, and motivates top talent, aligning with the company's overall business goals. - Lead the annual compensation planning process, including salary benchmarking, merit increases, bonus programs, and equity grants, ensuring alignment with budget and performance. - Design and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, optimizing cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction. - Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. - Partner with HR Business Partners to provide guidance and support on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary recommendations, and performance management. - Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure the organization's compensation and benefits programs remain competitive within the industry and region. - Manage the compensation and benefits budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. - Develop and implement performance management systems that drive employee performance and support organizational goals. - Utilize HR analytics to track the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations. - Communicate compensation and benefits programs effectively to employees, ensuring transparency and understanding. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, bonus plans, and equity programs. - Proven ability to conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings. - Strong understanding of HR analytics and the ability to use data to drive decision-making. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. - Exceptional budgeting and financial management skills. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders. - Deep knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. - A Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. - Adaptability to work in an on-site environment in Kolkata. .
