Risk: Head - Credit Risk - Wheels Portfolio About Risk The Risk department ensures that the Bank's risk is managed through a risk management framework as well as through policies and processes approved by the Board of Directors encompassing independent identification, measurement and management of risks across the various businesses of the Bank. About the Role Managing credit risk for the Retail lending portfolios of Wheels portfolio; New Car, Used Car, Commercial Vehicles (CV), Construction Equipment (CE) and Two Wheelers. The Job entails owning the risk outcomes for the wheels business including owing the risk framework for the wheels products, defining policy norms for sourcing & underwriting, ensuring policy execution, monitoring of portfolio performance basis defined risk guardrails and ensuring that credit facilities are granted as per the RBI regulations and Bank defined policy guidelines. Key Responsibilities - Framing the risk appetite for retail wheels products based on long term risk objectives, and defining the RAS guardrails for the wheels products. - Developing and implementing the risk management framework to drive credit cost outcomes for the wheels business as per the risk appetite of the bank. - Single point of ownership/touch point for Business team for all activities and sub-activities for the entire risk cycle i.e. Models/Scorecards for the Wheels portfolio. - Discussion of policy requirements with key stakeholders, developing the risk policy & getting the same approved. - Implementation of policy rules in Business Rule Engine for wheels products. - Participate in Development & validation of scorecards by giving policy expectations, inputs on variables and providing granular risk inputs. - Defining early risk guardrails & monitoring triggers for the Wheels portfolio. - Review PMC/CMC notes for Wheels portfolio. - Using PRISM framework for proactively tracking the portfolios; working closely with key stakeholders for identifying Business Growth Opportunities (BGO) & cutting down segments demonstrating adverse performance. - Building and implementing the STP decisioning framework for Wheels products. - Regular field/location level understanding of customers, risk performance through regular channel /branch/geography visits. - Regularly highlighting key risks and portfolio quality of the wheels portfolio to Mancom/Senior Management, Board & other such committees (RMC/CRMC). - Ensure regulatory compliance of policies & processes for Wheels portfolio. - Coordination with key stakeholders for managing Internal Audit Department/RBI audits. .
