Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to establish and lead the Diamond Jewellery E-Commerce & Online Sales Division. The incumbent will be responsible for building the complete online business ecosystem, driving digital revenue growth, developing online sales channels, and managing end-to-end e-commerce operations for the diamond jewellery business.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in e-commerce management, digital marketing, online marketplace operations, customer acquisition, and team leadership, preferably within the jewellery, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Strategy & Growth :
- Develop and execute the overall online sales strategy for diamond jewellery.
- Establish the e-commerce business model and operating framework.
- Define pricing, product assortment, and revenue targets.
- Create short-term and long-term growth plans for online sales expansion.
E-Commerce Platform Development :
- Lead the setup, launch, and optimization of the companys e-commerce platform.
- Coordinate with technology partners, payment gateway providers, and logistics vendors.
- Ensure a seamless, secure, and customer-friendly shopping experience.
Product & Catalogue Management :
- Oversee product photography, videography, and digital content creation.
- Manage product listings, certifications, descriptions, and catalogues.
- Ensure accurate pricing, inventory synchronization, and stock visibility.
Online Marketplace Management :
- Develop and manage sales through online marketplaces and digital channels.
- Drive marketplace growth and performance optimization.
- Expand brand visibility across online platforms.
Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition :
- Plan and execute SEO, SEM, performance marketing, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
- Collaborate with influencers and digital partners to increase customer reach.
- Improve conversion rates and optimize customer acquisition costs.
- Strengthen brand awareness and online reputation.
Operations & Fulfillment :
- Establish order processing, packaging, shipping, and return management systems.
- Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and superior customer experience.
Team Leadership :
- Build and lead e-commerce, marketing, content, and customer support teams.
- Define KPIs and performance management frameworks.
- Implement SOPs for all online business operations.
Analytics & Reporting :
- Monitor sales performance, website traffic, customer behaviour, and profitability.
- Analyze business data and provide actionable growth recommendations.
- Present regular business reviews to senior management.

Educational Qualifications :
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing, E-Commerce, Retail Management, or related discipline.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent.
- Digital Marketing or E-Commerce Certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
- 5 - 10 years of experience in E-Commerce, Online Retail, or Jewellery Retail.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of leadership experience managing online sales operations.
- Proven track record in launching and scaling e-commerce businesses.
- Experience in jewellery, luxury retail, fashion, or lifestyle brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, online merchandising, and digital revenue growth.
