About the RoleThe Head Enterprise Transaction Monitoring will lead the organizations fraud transaction monitoring and credit card fraud investigation functions. This strategic role is responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide fraud surveillance, managing high-volume alert handling, driving technology-led transformation, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the banks digital and retail banking operations from fraud risks while enabling business growth through robust risk containment strategies.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Enterprise Transaction Monitoring and Credit Card Investigations teamDevelop and execute the fraud risk strategy aligned with enterprise risk objectives for transaction monitoring and credit card fraud investigations.Maintain governance standards and ensure quality submissions to avoid audit observations.Liaise with law enforcement for fraud/legal case representation.Oversee fraud surveillance mechanisms across banking transactions and credit card operations.Ensure timely and thorough investigations of fraud alerts, disputes, and suspect transactions.Drive closure of cases within regulatory timelines and implement corrective actions.Implement comprehensive processes for unauthorized electronic banking disputes.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prevent frauds and mitigate risks.Introduce advanced technologies and agile systems to strengthen fraud detection and response.Drive automation initiatives to reduce TAT, optimize manpower, and scale operations.Benchmark fraud management practices with industry standards and plan strategic improvements.Secondary ResponsibilitiesSupport cross-functional initiatives to improve transaction monitoring processes.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of monitoring systems.Provide insights and recommendations to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
