Role & Responsibilities
Star Group is looking for an experienced Head Group Service to lead and transform after-sales operations across its multi-location, multi-brand automobile dealership network.
- Lead and mentor Service & Spares Heads across all dealerships.
- Drive service revenue, profitability, CSI, PMS retention and overall after-sales performance.
- Improve labour sales, spare parts business, workshop productivity and customer retention.
- Drive workshop bay productivity, manpower utilization and value-added services.
- Build strong OEM relationships and ensure compliance with service standards, processes and audits.
- Lead digital transformation, process standardization and continuous improvement.
- Review business KPIs, receivables and ageing and drive corrective actions.
- Strengthen cost controls, vendor processes, insurance approvals and claim settlements.
- Oversee workshop infrastructure, equipment and technology investments.
- Develop MIS, dashboards and structured review systems for data-driven decision-making.
- Benchmark service operations against industry best practices and drive sustainable profitability.
Preferred candidate profile
- 15-20+ years of experience in Automotive After-Sales / Service Operations.
- Proven experience in leading multi-location service operations and large teams.
- Solid expertise in Workshop Operations, Spare Parts, Warranty, CSI and Service Profitability.
- Strong understanding of OEM processes, business analytics and operational excellence.
- Toyota ecosystem experience preferred.
- Engineering Graduate, preferably Mechanical / Automobile Engineering.
- Strong leadership, team-building and stakeholder-management capabilities.
