Axslogic is seeking an experienced and skilled Platform Engineering Manager to join our team and drive the automation, scalability, and security of our cloud-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to build and maintain a robust cloud platform that supports our patented SaaS / Managed SaaS products providing Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to financial institutions. This role requires strong expertise in DevOps practices , deep hands-on experience with AWS , and a thorough understanding of IT security as it applies to DevOps and cloud infrastructure . Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices Administer, monitor, and optimize AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, EKS, etc.) Ensure platform deployment in secure Tier III or above Data Centers that offer very high level of uptime (99.982%) with multiple telecom peers, 100% redundant capacity and compliance to ISO 27001:2013 standards Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies and facilities Automate infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation Monitor systems performance, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot issues Define and enforce security best practices across development and deployment environments Implement data encryption mechanisms using asymmetric-symmetric key systems specific to each client Manage secure SFTP/FTPS servers and ETL processes that handle sensitive financial data Conduct risk assessments and recommend enhancements to improve overall DevOps security posture Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps specialists Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure safe and secure deployments Partner with data science teams to create infrastructure that supports analytics capabilities Stay current with AWS updates and security trends to proactively enhance systems 8+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles Strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure managementHands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, or similarSolid understanding of IT security principles , especially in DevOps environments (e.g., IAM, secrets management, network security, vulnerability management)Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similarFamiliarity with log aggregation, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog)Experience with handling sensitive financial data and knowledge of related compliance requirementsExperience with job control platforms like AirflowProven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex infrastructure projectsAWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect) Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., Background in scripting development in Bash and Python Experience with GitOps practices Knowledge of IBM and Oracle platforms that support analytics solutions Understanding of financial services domain, particularly lending analytics Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures Engineering Graduate from a top-tier college Work on Winnow, a cutting-edge patented SaaS platform that provides pre-programmed early warning capabilities and state-of-the-art reporting and analysis for financial institutions Build infrastructure for a platform that disrupts traditional manual processes in financial risk management Use cutting-edge cloud infrastructure tools and participate in advanced security implementations Help shape a secure and scalable DevOps culture within a fast-growing fintech company Work with a strong management team with significant domain expertise in Commercial Lending, Banking, and Consumer Financial Services Competitive salary and benefits Flexible working arrangements and a collaborative team environment Our Winnow SaaS platform is implemented using world-class platforms and requires expertise in maintaining a secure, high-performance cloud infrastructure.
