Overview
As Head of Everyday Banking Operations in India, you will be responsible for leading your team to success with strong people and resource management. Your role will involve maintaining a focus on optimizing capacity, reducing costs, and increasing productivity while minimizing operational losses and errors. You will drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and service performance by coaching, inspiring, and developing the skills of your team members. Additionally, you will be expected to:
- Manage risk, drive continuous improvement, and set the strategic direction of the function
- Define performance indicators, measurements, and critical MI reporting for informed decision-making
- Develop and maintain an effective training and accreditation plan
- Oversee KPIs and take necessary actions to ensure the unit maintains healthy matrices
- Drive financial targets and efficiency gains through process improvement initiatives
To excel in this role, you should possess exceptional people management skills and the ability to engage and motivate teams successfully. You should have a solid understanding of people processes and policies, along with previous experience in supply chain management in a leadership capacity. Knowledge of best practices, emerging supply chain thinking, and experience in a financial services environment is essential. You should also have exposure to operations transformation towards a digital environment, technology trends related to process or workforce management, and a thorough understanding of banking systems, products, risk, and compliance.
