About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead the Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Biscuits, Cookies, Chocolates, Confectionery, Bakery, or Food Manufacturing (FMCG) industry, with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, commercial finance, cost optimization, taxation, compliance, and business partnering.
The Head of Finance will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening financial controls, and supporting business growth through strategic financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Finance & Accounts function and manage end-to-end financial operations.
Develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Monitor business performance through MIS, financial analysis, and profitability reports.
Drive cost optimization and improve operational efficiency.
Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, and banking relationships.
Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements.
Strengthen internal financial controls and risk management practices.
Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations teams to improve financial performance.
Evaluate capital investments and support strategic business decisions.
Present financial insights and performance reports to senior management.
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience
1520 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, preferably in manufacturing.
CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or an equivalent finance qualification is preferred.
Strong experience in manufacturing finance, costing, inventory accounting, and commercial finance.
Hands-on exposure to audits, taxation, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Experience leading finance teams and working with senior leadership.
