Head Treasury
Role Overview :
As the Head Treasury, you will be instrumental in safeguarding and optimizing the financial health of our organization. This pivotal role involves the comprehensive oversight of all treasury operations, including strategic cash flow management, sophisticated foreign exchange risk mitigation, and prudent fund management. You will work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, banking partners, and external financial institutions, providing critical insights and recommendations that directly influence our financial stability and growth trajectory. Your expertise will ensure optimal liquidity, efficient capital allocation, and robust risk management frameworks, directly impacting our ability to pursue strategic initiatives and enhance shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute comprehensive cash management strategies to optimize working capital and ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing operations and strategic investments.
- Formulate and implement advanced foreign exchange hedging policies and strategies to effectively mitigate currency risks and protect the company's profitability and balance sheet.
- Oversee the investment of surplus funds, developing robust investment strategies to maximize returns within defined risk parameters and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage the company's debt portfolio, including negotiating new financing facilities, optimizing existing debt structures, and ensuring compliance with all covenants to support business expansion.
- Identify, assess, and manage financial risks related to interest rates, liquidity, and currency fluctuations, implementing proactive measures to safeguard financial assets.
- Contribute strategically to the company's financial planning, providing expert analysis on market trends, funding opportunities, and capital structure optimization to senior management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional growth, and operational excellence.
- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices governing treasury operations and corporate finance activities.
Required Skillset :
- CA with 10+ years in corporate finance and treasury management. Must have experience in handling investments of 2000cr+ and forex management.
- Should be have experience in listed , public limited manufacturing companies.
- Demonstrated deep expertise in treasury operations, corporate finance, foreign exchange management, fund management, and investment strategy, with a proven ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed, strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging effectively with banking partners, financial institutions, and internal senior leadership.
- Strong leadership qualities with a track record of building, motivating, and developing high-performing teams in a dynamic financial environment.
- Hands on experience in import procedures (LC, Buyers credit, IDMPS, etc.)
- Well versed with RBI Compliances. .
