About the Role
Our client, a growing IT services provider, is looking for a diligent Help Desk Technician to join their dedicated team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha . This role is fundamental in providing first-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. You will be the primary point of contact for IT-related queries, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person assistance. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals. Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and efficient manner. Assist with network connectivity issues and basic server administration. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and solutions. Conduct basic IT training for new employees. Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as needed. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures. Contribute to maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is preferred. 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications. Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems systematically. Customer-focused attitude and ability to work under pressure. Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
