About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Helpdesk Support Analyst to join their IT support team located in Coimbatore . In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees. You will ensure smooth IT operations, minimize downtime, and support users in effectively utilizing company technology. This position requires strong technical acumen, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality support within a collaborative IT environment.
Key Responsibilities Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person. Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. Document all support activities, resolutions, and system configurations in the helpdesk ticketing system. Assist in maintaining an up-to-date IT asset inventory and software licenses. Requirements Proven experience as a Helpdesk Support Analyst or in a similar IT support role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting. Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
