Job Summary
Progressive Technology is seeking highly skilled and motivated CPA and CA professionals to join our growing team of remote freelance accountants. This role offers a flexible, high-paying opportunity to work on diverse accounting projects for a wide range of clients, including startups, SMEs, and established corporations. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of accounting principles, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting, combined with the ability to work independently in a dynamic remote environment.
As a freelance accountant with Progressive Technology, you will provide expert financial guidance, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee client accounting records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts according to client requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Advise clients on financial planning, risk management, and cost optimization strategies.
Assist with auditing processes, both internal and external, as needed.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to support financial projects and initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data and client information.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is mandatory.
Proven expertise in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle).
Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a remote environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a proactive approach.
Experience
Minimum 35 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a freelance, consultancy, or corporate environment.
Experience in financial reporting, tax preparation, audits, and advisory services is highly preferred.
Working Hours
Flexible, fully remote work schedule.
Expected availability during core business hours (time zone flexible depending on client requirements).
Ability to manage workload and deadlines independently.
