Candidate Specification: We are looking for a flexible and motivated professional with a genuine passion and a desire to make a difference in the world. Qualification: Degree qualified in civil engineering (BE/B. Tech./ME/M. Tech.). Essential skills and experience: Experience and a commitment to effective management of Health, Safety, and Welfare, Safety by Design.Minimum 4+ years of experience in drainage and road design projects.All-round experience in surface and foul water drainage design.Relevant experience in car park layout design, private street design, and active travel scheme projects.Experience in utilities coordination, management of teams, and working with contractors.Collaborate effectively with the team members and stakeholders.Should have a deep understanding of drainage and highway design principles and practices, including knowledge of design software such as 12 D, Autodesk Civil 3D, Info-DrainageAn excellent understanding of relevant standards (e.g., the DMRB, Local Highway Authority standards).General IT software skills, such as, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ProjectWise.Strong interpersonal skills supporting collaborative working with colleagues. Desirable competencies/skills: Membership of related professional organisations.Experience of working with cross cultural teams.
