01Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute software verification and validation plans for traction inverter systems, create and maintain automated HIL test frameworks, develop HIL test cases for inverter software functions, validate motor control, torque control, state management, diagnostics, protections, and fault handling, build and maintain HIL test benches and infrastructure, perform CAN/UDS communication validation, integrate real-time plant models using MATLAB/Simulink, support fault injection and signal conditioning activities, perform debugging, root cause analysis, and test reporting, collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, and ensure compliance with automotive V-cycle development processes.
Required Skills: Strong experience in Traction Inverter Software Validation & Verification, expertise in HIL Modeling, HIL Testing, and Test Automation, hands-on experience with dSPACE SCALEXIO, MicroLabBox, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, and ConfigurationDesk, knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and RTI-based Real-Time Models, proficiency in Python, CAPL, and AutomationDesk scripting, strong understanding of EV Powertrain Systems, Motor Drives, and Traction Inverter Architectures, and expertise in CAN, CAN FD, UDS Diagnostics, and XCP.
Tools & Technologies: dSPACE SCALEXIO, MicroLabBox, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk, MATLAB/Simulink, RTI, Python, CAPL, CANoe, CANalyzer, CAN, CAN FD, UDS, XCP, Version Control Systems, CI Test Environments.
Preferred: Experience in EV Powertrain Validation, HIL Rig Design & Integration, Fault Injection Testing, Sensor/Actuator Emulation, Wiring Harness Development, Test Bench Instrumentation, Continuous Integration Testing, and automotive embedded systems validation.
Education: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or Related Engineering Discipline.
