Record to Reports
- Review and approve General Ledger journals, accruals, provisions, allocations, and other accounting entries as per agreed schedules and Client Desktop Procedures.
- Initiate accounting entries for non-standard events and transactions based on applicable accounting policies, manuals, and business requirements not explicitly covered in Desktop Procedures.
- Review fixed asset-related entries based on requests and in accordance with agreed schedules and Client Desktop Procedures.
- Monitor fixed asset transactions and budgets, and coordinate with asset owners to ensure timely capitalization of fixed assets.
- Review bank statement reconciliations and validate balances in sub-bank accounts.
- Monitor Intercompany reconciliations and coordinate with counterparties to resolve and agree on Intercompany balances.
- Monitor Intercompany netting and settlement activities to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare and execute Period-End Close activities in line with agreed timelines and procedures.
- Track Period-End Close progress, collaborate with Finance Controllers and Process Owners, and escalate issues when required to ensure timely reporting.
- Prepare Period-End Reporting Packs, including Trial Balance reviews, and obtain sign-off from Financial Controllers.
- Reconcile medium- and high-risk balance sheet accounts and review low- and medium-risk account reconciliations.
- Review operational reports within the area of expertise and provide analytical insights to support business decision-making.
Education: BCOM/ MCOM/BBA (Accountancy graduation is mandatory)
