About the Role
We are looking for a skilled AI Engineer to join our technology team in Canada. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that address real-world business and technical challenges.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys working with modern AI technologies and collaborating with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions.
Build and optimize machine learning models and AI applications.
Work with large datasets to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
Develop and integrate AI/ML models into production applications.
Work with Generative AI, NLP, computer vision, or related technologies where applicable.
Evaluate model performance and improve accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders.
Implement appropriate testing, monitoring, documentation, and model lifecycle practices.
Stay informed about developments in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
Contribute to technical documentation and engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Professional experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related role.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with relevant AI/ML frameworks.
Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and data preprocessing.
Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, databases, or software development practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, or computer vision.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or model monitoring.
Experience working with production-scale AI applications.
Knowledge of responsible AI and model governance practices.
