Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented B.Sc./M.Sc. Biochemistry graduates to join our Medical Coding team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers and experienced candidates who are interested in building a career in the healthcare industry. The role involves reviewing medical records and assigning standardized diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on physician documentation.
- Ensure coding accuracy while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
- Follow medical coding guidelines and healthcare compliance policies.
- Work closely with quality analysts and team leads to resolve coding queries.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
- Continuously update knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and coding guidelines.
